Genia Sanft is a lifelong creative who has spent the past 10 years intentionally exploring and developing her artistic voice. With a background in nursing, Genia understands the importance of caring for the whole person and has found creativity to be a powerful and therapeutic way to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
Her approach to art celebrates individuality over perfection. She believes creativity doesn’t have to follow rules or look a certain way to be meaningful. Through journaling, mixed media, and other creative practices, Genia encourages others to experiment, trust their instincts, and create something that feels uniquely their own.

The traditions we treasure tell the story of where we’ve been, who we are, and what we hope to carry forward.In this guided junk journal class, you’ll create a meaningful collection of the traditions, people, places, and moments that connect the past, present, and future.Remember traditions from childhood and the people who made them special. Celebrate the traditions you continue today—whether they’ve stayed the same or evolved over time. Then look ahead to the traditions you’re creating now and those you hope will become part of your story.Bring personal memorabilia such as photographs, copied recipes, handwritten notes, cards, ticket stubs, or other small keepsakes to make your journal uniquely yours.A journal and curated creative kit will be provided.Attendees need to bring:Scissors and any personal memorabilia you’d like to include.This class is about more than preserving memories—it’s about celebrating the traditions we treasure and the new ones yet to come.
